How Technology is Transforming Teaching and Learning in the Classroom

In this blog post I will be reviewing and advertisement of a software (one of many) that teachers can use to teach and help students learn.

This advertisement speaks intriguingly about how students are natural learners. But we often find our students in environment where learning does not happen naturally, but more forcefully.
She then questions the viewers, how are we using technology to develop creativity in the minds of our students?

We need to embrace natural learning. Students learn better when they are connect, playing and collaborating with their peers. Kids help other kids, who help them, learn. They go on to explain how we should transform devices into powerful engagement tools. So teachers will first, create a lesson plan and then integrate technology into that lesson in a way that will intrigue them and influence learning.

Technology also lets students learn together. When students are able to learn, practice and understand as well as ask questions around their peers they are able to better understand the concepts they are being taught. They are also able to learn and collaborate naturally anytime, anywhere.

"SMART" says that learning through technology gives students a front row view from their devices to the teaching/lessons. Technology is changing the way we do everything. In the classroom, there is so much more sharing, working together, active participation. Students are more involved in the classroom than ever before.

"Learning becomes intuitive and captivating based on the natural ways students learn."

SMART explained perfectly the ways that technology is and should be used in the classroom. Although it should be used attentively, it can make a big difference in the classroom!

  1. I totally agree with you. We as a society need to embrace natural learning and understand that kids learn many things through themselves as well as others and that's an awesome thing! I think for the most part technology really helps bring people together when learning because they're engaged with those around them. Awesome job!
